Meet Patricia Herrera

Patricia Herrera is an Associate Attorney at Patil Law, where she specializes in securities and financial services litigation.

Ms. Herrera earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2025, graduating cum laude. While attending the University of Miami School of Law, Ms. Herrera served as a Junior Staff Editor for the Race and Social Justice Law Review. Ms. Herrera also served as a Fellow of the Investor Rights Clinic where she represented underserved investors in securities arbitration claims before FINRA and assisted professors with planning the Clinic’s first “Becoming a FINRA Arbitrator” event, co-hosted by FINRA, with the aim of teaching legal professionals how to become FINRA arbitrators. The clinical experience Ms. Herrera gained as a Fellow of the Investor Rights Clinic provided her with the unique opportunity to gain vast insight into the FINRA arbitration process.

Prior to joining Patil Law, Ms. Herrera served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Migna Sanchez-Llorens in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade. Ms. Herrera also gained exposure to federal court practice while serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Beth Bloom in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Ms. Herrera is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida and is a fluent Spanish speaker. She is currently a member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Cuban American Bar Association.
